Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his roles on the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was during his college years. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. The characters he has played on television have earned him plenty of popularity. His ability to play characters from both sides of the law is what has caught the attention of the public. His initial project was a television serial, and later, he played as a detective with the NYPD. Numerous times, he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards.
