Dua Lipa was born 22nd August 1995 in London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a couple of years of work and put out a self-titled album in the year 2017. The album peaked at third place on the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles, including Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. Number One single New Rules which peaked at sixth on the charts in the United States. As a result of her maternal grandparents Dua Lipa, the actress is Bosnian. There is also a trace of Lipa's ancestry in Peja from Kosovo. Lipa's grand-fathers were both history professors. Her brother is Gjin Lipa and a sister Rina. Her musical inspirations come from her father who is the singer-guitarist of Kosovan the rock group Oda.
